在持续高烧的留学热潮推动下,越来越多的中国学生选择走向世界去看看。2015-2016年赴美留学生数量首次超过100万,同比上一年增长7%,总人数达到1043839人。而其中,来自中国的留学生数量超过32.8万人次,占据美国所有留学生的31.5%,相比去年的30.4万人次又增加8.1%,依然是留美大军中当之无愧的生力军。
加州和纽约成为热门的留学目的地
加州和纽约再度成为留学热门地区。这也情理之中的,谁让这里不仅有UCB、UCLA、加州理工等多所牛校,还有随处可见的阳光、沙滩、俊男和美女呢。、
佛罗里达州一个阳光明媚的城市,这几年吸引了越来越多留学生的关注,今年选择去佛州留学的国际生人数增长比例高达10.4%,总人数达到43462。果然,留学生对 sunshine state 的热爱已经无法抵挡了!
NYU和USC依然爱国际学生
纽约大学和南加州大学再次成为接收留学生多的大学,这也是NYU和USC连续第三年包揽录取国际生多的前两名了。纽约大学以拥有1万5543个国际学生居冠,其他二到五名,依序为南加州大学1万3340人、亚利桑纳大学1万2751人、哥伦比亚大学1万2740人,以及香槟伊大(UIUC)1万2085人。
值得一提的是,纵观招收国际学生多的前20所美国大学名单,所有院校均可雅思成绩申请,且一般来说,研究生课程对雅思分数要求为6.5-7.5。话说连如此的学府都如此的偏爱雅思成绩,雅思成绩在北美高校的认可度你也可想而知了

工程、商科和CS…留学生爱三大专业
2015-2016年赴美就读本科的人数超过42万,增加7.1%,就读研究生的人数超过38万,增加6.0%。留学生热衷选择的专业分别是:工程、商科及管理学、数学和计算机科学、社会科学、物理和生命科学。和去年相比,2015-2016年度学习工程的留美学生人数增加了10%,学商科管理的增加了2%;数学和计算机科学专业的留学生人数增加了25%。
中国学生在美国就读的科系人数多的前三名,分为为商业管理系24.3%,工程占18.6%,数学及电脑科。
